Bar Pisellino has become one of my favorite spots in the city. There’s something about it that feels like a small escape from New York. In the morning, it’s the perfect place for a cappuccino and a warm Nutella filled croissant. By midday, the light hits just right and an Aperol spritz feels like the move. At night, it transforms again, filled with the soft buzz of conversation and the comfort of a Negroni.
It’s the closest thing I’ve found to being back in Florence. That easy rhythm, the open air, the simple pleasure of watching the world go by. That’s what drew me to capture this photo, the glow of the storefront, the people drifting in and out, and that quiet moment where the city feels far away, even when you’re right in the middle of it.
